Job Skills Training

Walk in confident. Walk out hireable.

Overview

A community approach to learning real workplace skills. Hands-on, relevant, and fun — so youth walk in confident and walk out hireable.

Job Skills Training is built around what employers actually ask for: showing up on time, communicating clearly, problem-solving in a team, and building a resume that gets read.

We bring in local employers, run mock interviews, walk youth through real worksites, and introduce trade pathways alongside college. The goal isn't a certificate — it's a first job offer, and the confidence to keep building from there.

What you'll get

Concrete outcomes — not just feelings.

  • Resume and cover letter drafted with feedback

A real story

From someone who walked it out.

I'd never been to a college campus before. After our visit I picked a major. I'd never even thought about a major before.
